The Black Hole

Another black hole moves in on me
Like every day since my birth
We're not alone in the universe
But we're damned sure alone on Earth

There ain't no God watching over us
And no souls for him to save
We're all alone from the time we're born
Until the time we reach the grave

I refuse to die so I don't mind growing old
But I resent every fairy tale and every lie I was ever told
Perhaps my problems are in my head & there's nothing truly wrong
And all these doubtful thought I have really don't belong

Another black hole moves in on me
Like every day since my birth
We're not alone in the universe
But we're damned sure alone on Earth

There ain't no God watching over us
And no souls for him to save
We're all alone from the time we're born
Until the time we reach the grave
